The Tate Modern, London

The Tate Modern is situated in the former Bankside Power Station, on the South bank of the River Thames. It welcomes five million visitors each year, more than twice the number it was designed to accommodate. As a result of this success the Tate embarked on an extension to the gallery, an 11-storey truncated pyramid structure.

Our approach
Fulcro, appointed by main contractor Mace, produced a BIM model for the extension, using existing 3D modelling information from the project, to undertake the laser survey, model creation, analysis and reporting.
